I know it's been a couple days! But I have a been super busy (as always!) but what can I say? I'm a mom, a business woman, and it's the Holidays! so you can believe there's been plenty of hustle and bustle around here. I found time to sneak in an entry though. Last night I was watching t.v. with my daughter and I saw this PSA for the organization Dress for Success given by Iman. A while back I came across an organization does something similar to this one but I never looked further into it and I was very interested. So today I looked up the organization online and I was so impressed! Dress for Success is an international non-profit organization. They specialize in promoting, "economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life." I absolutely love this organization and what they do. I will be volunteering ASAP! I will find the time in my busy schedule to support this cause. Finding this organization is my Christmas present to myself. I want to ultimately tie Posh Goddess™ strategically to this wonderful organization. On the website http://www.dressforsuccess.org it states that to date they have helped nearly 400,000 women towards self-sufficiency, since opening its doors in New York in 1997. They have expanded to more than 85 cities in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and the UK. I got the clip above from Youtube that further explains what the organization is all about.
